Year 2 had a fruit-tastic time at a fantastic workshop about one of our favourite stories: Kitchen Disco by Clare Foges and Al Murphy.
Just a reminder about our Winter Market tomorrow.
Parents can collect their children from their usual door at 2:30pm and then go in via the front door by the office. If you are collecting another child on behalf of another parent, please can you let the office know.
There will be raffles, games, crafts, jam/chutney, popcorn, curry and more to buy. It would be helpful if you have change when buying items at the stalls.
We are very grateful for the donations received so far and look forward to seeing you there!
We thoroughly enjoyed The Sorcerer’s Suitcase at The Customs House!
In Year 2 we are planning our own Christmas themed poems. We have started by sorting words into rhyming groups.
We enjoyed readingTell Me a Dragon by Jackie Morris so much that we decided to design our own unique dragons.
We showed fantastic map reading skills this afternoon in Year 2. Can you name all of the continents and oceans?
We had lots of fun building part-part-whole models together.
In Y2 we have enjoyed exploring fact families in maths.
