In Reception Class, we have been learning about how water can change into ice. Our friend Fred got into a bit of trouble when we left him outside to play in some water overnight. It must have been so cold, both Fred and his little pool froze solid. We had to think of ways to help melt the water.

The children in Reception Class have had fun working with Melanie Horan from Northumbria University this week. They have been learning about the weather and what a week to do so! We have made the most of the wind and rain with the kites and wind socks that the children have made. Thank you to all the parents who were able to come and join us for a story and craft session on Friday morning. The children are always so happy to have their grown ups come and join the fun!
