We had lots of fun building part-part-whole models together.
In math,s we have been learning about Roman numerals. We had great fun testing our knowledge and trying to remember the different letters for each number.
In the second week of our year-long timestable battle, Year 5 came out on top once again in a close-fought battle with Year 4. Well done to all those who had a chance to jump on this week and let’s keep going for next week’s results!

In our final qualifying Rock Wrangle of the academic year, we saw Azlan and Yusuf battle it out to become winners of Summer One and Two’s competitions.
We will see them battle four other pupils next week, where we will find out who in the school is the Rock Wrangle Champion of Champions 2024!
Year 4 have been learning about position and direction. Today we took our learning outside and created grids and practised directing our friends around the grid using mathematical language.
Year 4 have been learning about the properties of 2D shapes. We had fun making tangrams using these shapes.
Year 2 have been learning all about the properties of 2D shapes this week. They had lots of fun creating shapes on the geoboards.
As part of our school’s commitment to improving our timestable knowledge, we held our half-termly “Rock Wrangle” where the fastest mathematicians battle it out to see who is the fastest of them all!
In the close competition, which included a wider range of range groups than our previous battle, we broke our high score of 103 questions in a minute with our eventual winner Kenzie-Leigh scoring 114 in a minute!
Well done to all that took part and our eventual winner!
