At Marine Park Primary, we believe that the benefits of having a school council are far
reaching. If you give young people the chance to make a difference, you’ll see the difference
in your school.
As part of the school council, students have opportunities to work with staff to share views
and collaborate on projects. Students also have opportunities to develop essential
communication and negotiation skills through decision making activities.
The School Council provides an opportunity to develop, demonstrate and further the
students understanding of the fundamental British Values.
