Year 4 had a great time learning all about insects in preparation for our upcoming sceince topic about Living Things. We really enjoyed the workshop given by Nustem. We had the opportunity to practise our scientific skills of observation (Looking closely) and open mindedness (being willing to change our minds). We got to use magnifying glasses to help us to see a large range of different insects and practise our drawing skills by creating a scietific diagram of our favourite insect.
We then got to create our very own 3D insects with our grown ups! A big Thank You to everyone who came, what a great turn out. We hope to see you soon.
